Across the Globe

Dear Readers,

It's finally Friday! This week went by so fast, didn't it? Well, I guess I could say that for most weeks of summer.

Today I am going to focus on writing news! Have you guys heard of the Ickabog by J. K. Rowling? The famous author of Harry Potter is making another online story for kids! It has nothing to do with magic, but it sure is captivating! There is also a competition for kids from 7-12 years old to make an illustration for very new chapter. Every day J. K. Rowling publish 1-2 new chapters. Happy Reading! There was also the Indian summer Festival that happened a few days ago. This event showcases multiple artists who read poetry or short stories. There is a video of this event available on YouTube. Happy watching this time!

Day Five's Progress:

Today I just made some final edits to my poem. I changed some line breaks and some phrasings/words. This didn't take too long since I edited it a lot yesterday. I am really happy with the final results. I normally don't write such "vicious" and sad poems but I guess I decided to try something new. Plus the story is very true with makes my poem more touching and heartfelt.
